Pink sapphires are symbols of love and intelligence, and are often connected to the lotus in Southeast Asia.
The lotus flower is a symbol of purity, enlightenment and rebirth in many different cultures. The flower blooms in muddy rivers in Australia, North Africa and South Asia. It grows in murky waters, it’s waxy petals assures it stays clean and richly colored every day. Not only does it thrive in dirty conditions, a lotus seed can be left without water for over 200 years and still germinate. If you need to be reminded that you can be remade whole after an injury or trauma, this is a great symbol to wear.
