This mala combines the most beautiful Rutilated Quartz beads with faceted Grey Moonstone that glows with warmth. This mala has delicate splashes of peach, copper and cream that pair beautifully with the grey moonstone.
Grey Moonstone is also known as the New Moon stone, and is used to enhance intuition and tapping into they metaphysical. Rutilated Quartz is also known as Cupid’s Darts, and is highly prized for the red, gold, copper, and black streaks that run through the stone. Rutilated Quartz is known to intensify the healing properties of other crystals, as it is a combination of quartz and iron oxide. It is also used to aid in healing and minimize negative thoughts.
A natural white silk cord is used to bring these elements together, bringing this to 40 inches total; ending with a multicolored jasper guru bead and soft grey silk tassel.
This necklace can be used for meditation, as it has the traditional 108 beads, knotted between each bead to act as the space between breaths in counting mantras. As this is a traditional hand knotted mala, it may damaged by water, sweat, or vigorous activity, and as with any gemstone jewelry, stones may crack with force. While philosophically a broken mala is considered part of the natural order and a sign that you have achieved your intention, keep away from water and sweat for longevity.
