Gorgeous Amethyst stone and white wood are combined in this traditional mala necklace. Amethyst is a stone to connect to the divine. Spiritually it soothes irritability and stress, and is often aligned with the crown chakra, opening spiritual connections to the universe. White as a color signifies purity of intention, and in the occult whitewood is knows as a good attractor and conductor of energy. Whitewood is also very lightweight, and buttery to the touch. A natural, purple silk cord is used to bring these elements together, bringing this to 34 inches total; ending in a white wood guru bead and white silk tassel.
This necklace can be used for meditation, as it has the traditional 108 beads, knotted between each bead to act as the space between breaths in counting mantras. As this is a traditional hand knotted mala, it may damaged by water, sweat, or vigorous activity, and as with any gemstone jewelry, stones may crack with force. While philosophically a broken mala is considered part of the natural order and a sign that you have achieved your intention, keep away from water and sweat for longevity.
